Why we built the Enterprise AI Readiness Diagnostic

How the diagnostic is scored

Each of the 10 questions is weighted across five capability dimensions, AI strategy and sponsorship, data foundations, governance and risk, workforce readiness and execution capability. The total adds to a score out of 100. The score maps to one of four levels.

• AI Bystander, 0 to 33, no AI strategy, no executive sponsor, no data foundation
• AI Explorer, 34 to 55, early pilots, fragmented data, no governance framework
• AI Contender, 56 to 79, executive sponsor in place, governance forming, first wave use cases live
• Agentic Enterprise, 80 to 100, AI is a board agenda item, governance is mature, agentic workflows are in production

What you receive at the end

Every respondent receives a personalised readiness report on screen, plus a confirmation email with the full question by question breakdown. The report includes the readiness level, the score, a one-page narrative you can take into your next board meeting, a 90 day, 180 day and 12 month action plan, and a tailored Applied AI MasterClass recommendation including format and the closest 2026 cohort.
